ETNA TOUR JEEP EXCURSION

We organize a half-day tour to visit the most important active and interesting areas of Etna. Excursion on Etna with Departure from Your Hotel-B & B From: Catania, Acireale, Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Messina, Syracuse, Enna.

With the authorized JEEP 4 × 4, we would go north-east, after a couple of km we will stop inside the national park, accessible only with an authorized guide as there are about 250 side craters.

After a walk of about 40 minutes we will visit 7 side craters, one is still open and you can see the real size of a crater but there is no lava inside.

In this area you will see all kinds of lava, minerals, volcanic desert and pioneer plants of our volcano. After visiting the craters at high altitude, with our authorized jeep we will do 2 km of off-road to visit the last great eruption on the north side and finally in another area we will visit 5 small craters inside with helmets and lamps provided by us. an expansion chamber with small stalactites and a 26 km fracture that divides Etna into two parts. We visit the areas of volcanological and scientific interest with a qualified guide.

The price is € 75.00 per adult. Includes: transfer from your hotel, Jeep and authorized guides, jackets, shoes, helmets and lamps.
